submitted by Kiara S. - |Recommended: NoIt’s Only Been 2 Months — I enjoy my living space but I am absolutely livid every time I step outside. People constantly leave their dog poop on the walkways in the grass never cleaning it up. When people are moving out they crowd their trash in all the bins and even in front of the bins which is very distasteful and adds extra work for the maintenance staff it also keeps me from being able to properly dispose of trash. I was told the painters were coming to fix my bathroom they never showed back up. There also needs to be some additional signage for the apartments that sit on Dorsett people have a hard time finding my building and

After waiting over more than 20 days for a refrigerator replacement, living with spoiled food, fungus, and unbearable odor, management finally replaced my fridge—only to give me a used, filthy fridge full of dead flies and insects. After nearly a month without a working fridge, this is what they think is acceptable for residents The lack of hygiene, responsibility, and basic standards is shocking. I restocked my groceries after waiting weeks, only to discover dead bugs inside the “replacement” fridge. This is not just poor service it’s a complete health hazard and shows zero care for residents’ well-being. The management and maintenance team repeatedly delayed, ignored timelines, and provided no real updates. After everything, replacing my broken fridge with a dirty, insect-filled one is the final proof of how poorly this property is run. I would strongly advise future residents to think twice.

submitted by Ashok - |Recommended: NoIf I could give this place zero stars, I would. I have been dealing with one of the most outrageous and irresponsible management situations I’ve ever experienced. My refrigerator stopped working 15 days ago, and despite submitting an emergency maintenance request, NO ONE showed up for two days. When someone finally came, they said they needed to “order a part” and then simply disappeared. Since then, it has been nothing but excuses, empty promises, and complete negligence. Management promised—multiple times, including in person—that the fridge would be fixed by December 5th “without fail.” Today, it’s well past that date, and guess what Still no repair. Still no replacement. Still no follow-up. This is not just bad service—this is health-hazard level negligence. The management here does not take responsibility, does not communicate, and clearly does not care about the well-being of their residents. Even after meeting the manager directly, NOTHING was done.

submitted by Ryan - |Recommended: NoDO NOT RENT HERE This has to be the worst place I have rented in my entire life. First off lets talk about maintenance - or lack there of. When I first moved into the complex in my newly renovated unit that I paid extra for, the dishwasher didn't work. It took them 4 months to replace it with a working one. Then the ceiling started to leak. not a small leak but running water down my walls and having to leave a bucket on the floor bad. I submitted 6 work request tickets for the roof and it still took them months to do anything. Finally, the ceiling above my fireplace collapsed exposing rotting support beams and mold. What was their solution Have a contractor put a very sloppy patch on the ceiling and wrap the chimney in a tarp. The tarp lived on that chimney all the way till I moved out 8 months later. Mold remediation None. Fixing the weak supports Nope. Just slap some paint over the water spots and mold. Both my showers also had holes in the shower liners which would lead to wat

One of the things I love most is how close-knit everyone is—you really get the sense that you’re part of a family, not just an apartment complex. The coordinators do an amazing job keeping us connected and engaged. They go above and beyond to make sure residents feel valued and included, and they always plan thoughtful, fun activities for all ages. From community events to seasonal gatherings, there’s always something happening.

A week before Christmas I had to go to the city of Maryland Heights because of a gaping hole in the ceiling. Someone showed up the day after Christmas to patch it only for it to start leaking again. They did not replace dry wall just a patch. The vertical blinds are so cheap the panels keep falling of. My bedroom ceiling has issues and the hall. never been fixed. Missing gutters and when it rains, we have a waterfall outside our front door. My shower surround is cheap crap and I had to caulk my self as well as around the toilet. The lake is not maintained. When it rains hard it overflows over the walking path. There is a 10 foot gaping hole right next to the walking path for any animal or person could fall in. The laundry room smells like mold and half of the washers are broken. So maybe 5 or 6 washers for the whole community. They don't keep the walking area or parking lot clean of snow and ice. BEWARE

They have almost everything here right on the complex grounds for the family to enjoy. Every member of the office and maintenance is so nice and they want the residents to enjoy their apartment or townhomes. We highly recommend Haven On The Lake this is such a beautiful place to raise a family or just to live life. it's very peaceful here

submitted by  - |Recommended: NoRUN Don’t come here, don’t consider it. Just leave. The entire office staff and maintenance team suck. They will leave you high and dry. Maintenance will drive around in their own personal cars or golf carts gossiping and doing anything BUT their jobs. Office staff will sit in front of the computer but not answer the phones even though they always direct people to call them If they’re not in the office then they’re gossiping about something around the property. Cops and ambulances come through the property ALOT Expect water damage, bugs, and black mold in inconspicuous places. Expect the property grounds to be riddled with dog poop, raccoons, broken sidewalk lights, and a broken pool
